Energy Balance

Recently I had a Reiki session. It had been a while since I received a treatment and it felt great.

What was it like?

It leaves you feeling much like how you would after a massage (relaxed bliss). The difference is you that you leave your clothes on and there is only light touching involved. I’m usually a bit wound up when I arrive for a session. We go over what’s new since the last session and discus any intentions that I have.

Then time to get on the table!

After the hands on part of a session there is a debriefing. The practitioner shares any insights that came through while administering Reiki. Information like if they found any blockages in the chakras or important messages that came through relating to the intentions set at the beginning.

To further connect the pieces of the session we pull an oracle card. The thing about oracle cards is that you always pull the perfect one. There card comes with a message that can be applied to life in general or the situation in question.

It is very helpful to have a neutral person to talk things over with confidentially; someone non-judgmental and wants the best for you. Having my energy cleared gets me back in alignment. The relaxation of a session along with all of the information received leaves me recharged and feeling like I have a better handle on thing in my life for a while. Reiki is an excellent part of a self-care routine and it is something that I continue to utilize.

Reiki has been so powerful for me that I decided to get certified so that I can share it with others. Recently I have been practicing more and it confirms my enjoyment of the practice. Looking at a client after a session is truly a joy. The responses have been so positive I’m glad that I could make Reiki a part of my life.

There was a reason

There was a reason she was so romantic about the moon,

It never asked her questions or begged for the answers nor did she ever have to prove herself to it,

It was always just there— breathing, shining and in most ways humans can’t understand: listening

Business of Me

Greetings!

I am so very grateful you found me.

This site is dedicated to showcasing my heart-centered soul work. After feeling devastated by life, it took all I had to look for outlets that would help keep me going when I was uncertain if I could. Self-care saved me. Connecting to my own healing has made a tremendous difference in my life. By getting down to the business of me, I was better able to understand my hurts and figure out what I actually wanted my life to look like going forward.

I also found my calling!

I always felt drawn to helping people but wasn’t sure what I had to offer. The more serious I took my self-care, the more others noticed the changes in me and began to inquire about what I was up to. As I explained I saw that I had sparked something inside them as well. Afterword they would ask me to keep them posted because it sounded like something they would be interested in.

Up until now I have lived in the shadows of life playing small, doing what was expected, and trying to please others. I sacrificed much to fit into a false reality that wasn’t meant for me. I never would have imagined I could live a dream life that inspires others. Now I’m making the most of my life and would love to help you do the same!

I am more than excited to share my offerings with you!!

The Moon

The moon symbolizes the void, the feminine darkness and even our own deep forest. She is everywhere yet much remains unseen. When she is full, flashes of truth illuminate us on the Path. When she has disappeared, we must carry on with only our intuition to guide us. Fear not, the tide always turns. When the Moon is weighing on you, there’s a good chance you are being called to dive really deep into your unconscious and the underworld and bring back treasure.

The moon is a loyal companion

The moon is a loyal companion. It never leaves.

It’s always there, watching steadfast, knowing us in our light and dark moments, changing forever just as we do.

Every day it’s a different version of itself.

Sometimes weak and wan, sometimes strong and full of light.

The moon understands what it means to be human.

Uncertain. Alone. Created by imperfections.
